The Centers dual energy Varian 21 Linear Accelerator provides radiation therapy using four-dimensional treatment planning, conforming to the exact shape of a tumor and reducing the risk of harming the surrounding healthy tissue.

The Center also provides state-of-the-art radiation treatment techniques including IMRT and respiratory gating. The Respiratory Gating System keys in to the patient's breathing pattern to provide radiation only at precise times. As the patient breathes, tumors in the body move and shift, so the Respiratory Gating System produces radiation only when the tumor moves back to its original position, thus protecting healthy tissue.
