The Foundation's Legal Information

 

The Hackettstown Regional Medical Center Foundation is an organization that the IRS has determined to be exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

 

Donors may deduct contributions to the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center Foundation (to benefit Hackettstown Regional Medical Center) as provided in section 170 of the Code and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by current law.

 

The Foundation has an annual independent audit conducted by a Certified Public Accountant and files IRS Form 990 annually. The Foundation's financial statements for the most recently completed fiscal year and IRS Form 990 are available for review upon written request.

 

The Hackettstown Regional Medical Center Foundation is in compliance with the State of New Jersey's Charitable Registration and Investigation Act of 1994 (CRI Act). Pursuant to the CRI Act, all charitable organizations operating within the State of New Jersey are required to register with the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Office of Consumer Protection, Charities Registration & Investigation Section. In the State of New Jersey, only currently registered charities may solicit funds from the public.
