Buds of Life

The day a baby is born is one of the most miraculous experiences you and your family will ever have.

In January 2000, the Childbirth Family Center performed its first underwater birth -- the first by any hospital in Northern New Jersey. In 2005, the Center opened two new delivery rooms with birthing tubs located in the rooms themselves.

Make your special delivery even more memorable by participating in the Buds of Life program at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, Godparents and friends...

Join us in celebrating the birth of a child by participating in the Buds of Life program at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center (HRMC). The Buds of Life is a permanent recognition of the newest member of your family, or for each child born, or as a special thank you to a nurse or physician who experienced the event with you.

Your child's name and birth date can be commemorated with an engraved brass leaf on the Buds of Life wall sculpture at HRMC. If desired, you can also purchase a bud leaf to recognize those who were helpful to you during your pregnancy and delivery.

Participate

Participation in the Buds of Life program is easy. Simply complete and return the form, included in the brochure linked below, with the appropriate donation. Each bud leaf on the tree represents a gift of $250 and each stone represents a gift of $2,500.

If you were not previously aware of the Buds of Life program and would like to commemorate the birth of a child born at Hackettstown Community Hospital/HRMC in years past, you may do so now. There is no limit to the number of bud leaves you may purchase.

Proceeds derived from the Buds of Life program directly benefit the Childbirth Family Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Your purchase helps to build a special fund to enrich the quality and safety of the birthing experience.
