HRMC Will Bring New Surprises as Sponsor of Annual Spring Festival

Hackettstown Regional Medical Center will be present in a big way as one of the main sponsors of the annual Hackettstown Spring Festival, to be held May 4th, 5th and 6th on the fields behind Hatchery Hill School and Centenary College in Hackettstown.

In addition to the hospital's traditional tent full of wellness information, giveaways and free healthy snacks like their famous vegetarian chili, cornbread and freshly popped popcorn, an exciting new addition this year will be a visit from former NY Giants running backs Joe Morris and Rodney Hampton!  The pair will be on hand on Saturday afternoon to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans as guests of HRMC.  Morris is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Hampton is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Those who stop by will receive a complimentary HRMC football for the players to sign, while supplies last.

Also new to the hospital's festival offerings this year will be an Education Tent offering free, informative presentations each hour on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  The schedule for HRMC's Education Tent presentations is as follows:

Saturday, May 5th

12 noon "Healthy Cooking Demo" HRMC's Executive Chef, John Banach

1:00 p.m. "Exploring the Senses for Kids" an interactive display The Staff of HRMC's T.C. Kids

2:00 p.m. "Staying Active with Arthritis" Therapy Center Manager, Linda Medore, PT, DPT; and Total Joint Coordinator, Robyn Gilyard, MS, RN

3:00 p.m. "Summer Sun Safety" Board Certified Dermatologists, Stephen Nervi, M.D. and Nicole Rocca, M.D.

4:00 p.m. "Coping with Asthma" Michele DaSilva, BA, RRT-NPS

5:00 p.m. "The Weight is Over! Bariatric Surgery Options" Bariatric Surgeon, Jondavid Jabush, M.D.

Sunday, May 6th
