| Details: This is a two-part class. Participants must attend both Saturdays.
The participant will learn about comfort measures, delivery alternatives (e.g. waterbirth), stages of labor & delivery, post-partum care for mom and baby, as well as the role of the coach. You will practice breathing and relaxation techniques and have a labor rehearsal. The class includes a tour of the Childbirth Family Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. At the conclusion of the class you will have the information needed to create a birth plan that is tailored to help you meet your expectations.
Classes are taught by Certified Childbirth Instructors. |
