| Details: This American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Recertification course is designed for healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and EMTs who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. The course curriculum includes one and two-rescuer CPR, foreign body airway obstruction, use of barrier devices, bag valve masks, oxygen administration for adults, children and infants, as well as the use of the Automated External Defibrillators (A.E.D.). A written and skills exam is taken at the end of the course.
This course reflects the new 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC science. Please note there is a $15.00 book fee for the current BLS book if you do not have access to one.
